We have members from Bellingham to Olympia, but the majority of our team is located in Seattle, WA. We regularly ride & race all around Lake Washington and even venture out to the mountains and beyond. Keep up with our adventures on social:
We are a co-ed, multidisciplinary, all-skill level cycling team that races. We are made up of a diverse set of independent cyclists of all ages, different backgrounds, and in all stages of their cycling journey. Our members range from brand new to National champion and participate in a wide range of cycling disciplines, with a focus on “dirt”. We are community-focused and inclusive, celebrate teammates’ successes, and support each other in our growth. We are an active part of the local cycling community and thrive to promote cycling as a sport and as a lifestyle. Many of us are explorers and wanderers and we promote biking as a means to discover new adventure outdoors.
We have had many generous sponsors that have donated money, merchandise and offered steep discounts to encourage our racers to achieve their best in a sport that requires expensive equipment, long training hours and specialized skills. Title sponsors have included travel arranger Egencia, software developer Blue Rooster, bicycle manufacture Ti Cycles and bike shop Aurora Cycle, as well as a plethora of supporting sponsors.
Team Avanti takes racers of all abilities and helps develop competitive cyclists who may strive to achieve cycling fame, or who may have more modest ambitions -- like finishing a race; or simply being more fit. Whether you start off as a club rider, or jump in as a racing enthusiast, you won’t find a more supportive atmosphere.
We accept members of all skill levels and all disciplines. Egencia riders enjoy a supportive group with many activities as well as race reimbursements and Category 1/2 incentives. We also get support from our partners which includes discounts on equipment and services.
The only requirements to be part of the team are an annual fee, purchase of one kit per year and volunteer at one of our designated races.
